First of all I want to thank everyone who entered my mandala giveaway contest. It's something that I've wanted to do for a long time.
I ran the mandala give away on both of my blogs. Any other way seemed too complicated. Xanga and the people who have followed me since October 2005 has given me a lot of support, and I wanted to include everybody who wanted to join in. If people commented but didn't expressly say they wanted to be entered I didn't count them as an entry. If you dont ask for what you want, then how will you ever get it?
I entered everyone on an excel spreadsheet by name time and date in order to get a ranking of who entered when. Between the two blogs I had forty entries and three people asked to be added to my mailing list. Not bad.
I used
random.org to pick a random number between 1 and 40. The winner of the peacock mandala "Struttin Your Stuff" goes to
complicatedlight, who told me he never wins anything. Never say never, Phil. The mandala will be flying your way within the next couple of days by express mail.
It's all good.

Ah, rats! Phil must have out-manifested me. That one is a beauty, indeed. You win some you lose some. Congrats, Phil. :)
aw, i wanted to win. lucky Phil.
oh heck! i bet i didn't even get entered because i didn't expressly say i wanted to enter. congrats to the bear : )
@be_the_rain - you said 'hit me up, babe.' that was good enough for me.
thanks, guys. seriously, i never win anything - least of all anything based on a random drawing. so this is like, a first.
...and i gotta say i'm pretty psyched about it.
@complicatedlight -
Hey Phil.... congratulations. I think you asked for a specific one, didn't you????
That was a nice idea Sue! Your mandalas are wonderful.
@S2Know - i had other people ask specifically, but yea i thought Phil's request was the most emphatic. is it science or is it manifestation? all i know was it was fun from beginning to end. and i imagine i will do this again. just not sure when.
Congratulations to Phil! Your art is beautiful.
excellent. on everyone's part ; )
I like the rose a lot also.
@lotsayears - yea the rose came from the rose garden of the local catholic church. i found out recently the roses are planted in remembrance of parishoners that have passed away. this particular flower is one of my favs there.
